The Mission.
Athletes around the globe grind daily to build strength, boost performance and enhance their lives. The same is true for the astronauts at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (aka NASA), only their grind preserves and protects human life, both on earth and in space.
This first ever episode of the Full Depth documentary series , takes you behind the scenes at NASA to see how the bravest athletes alive are training and preparing for humanity’s next giant leap to Mars.
Impressive Result.
This was the first in a 5 part series of feature length documentaries from the makers of Barbell Shrugged.
Charlotte worked exclusively with the team at NASA to arrange special access at their headquarters in Houston, Texas where the Shrugged crew were shown behind-the-scenes on everything from Flight Command Centre, to engineering developments for the upcoming Mars Mission, and even realtime space-walk simulations in the training pool.
The shoot took place over a long weekend, followed by 8 weeks of post-production involving extensive archive work and sign-off from the marketing team at NASA.
